Artichoke Growers & Producers

Almost all of the artichokes grown commercially in the United States come from California. Castroville, California is the self proclaimed "Artichoke Center of the World" and is home to the California Artichoke Advisory Board, numerous commercial growers (nearly 2/3rds of the state's crop comes from farms in the Castroville area), and the Castroville Artichoke Festival.

    Ocean Mist Farms is the largest grower of fresh artichokes in the United States and grows them year round in three areas of California. Started in 1924, the company is headquarted in Castroville, California.

    Pezzini Farms is located in Castroville, California and has been growing Green Globe artichokes for over 50 years. They sell directly to the public and ship throughout the United States.
